If a learner is destined to fail a test…

If a learner is destined to fail a test…
…why are we forcing them to take it?

I’ve got nothing against testing.
But I do have something against humiliation disguised as assessment.

The test should be a celebration, not a punishment.
A moment of pride, not a source of shame.
A Shine & Share, not a Shut Down & Try Again.

Imagine this:
A test becomes an artefact — a snapshot of real growth.
Not just a number.
Not a threat.
But proof of how far you’ve come.

📌 That’s what learning should feel like.
An achievement that sticks for life.
Not something you try to forget the minute it’s over.

So let’s flip the script:
Assess when the learner is ready to succeed — not when the system is ready to judge.

And if they’re not ready?
Support them. Stretch them. Walk with them.
Then test again — with joy.

Because education is not about weeding out the weak.
It’s about lighting the path so every learner can rise.
